The Review of International Affairs (RIA) is one of the oldest and best-known periodicals in the Balkans that covers research in International Studies. It was changed and modernized in 2005. Since then, it has had its present-day form. It publishes original papers and review articles about all aspects of international relations and key events in world affairs. The journal includes contributions in international relations and security, global economy, international law, and European integration. The journal also publishes lectures given by foreign ambassadors at the IIPE’s Ambassadorial Forum, as well as a substantial book review section that identifies the most salient work of both emerging and enduring scholars of International Studies.

The journal is published three times a year in English with abstracts both English and Serbian. Being a forum for the academic debate on contemporary trends in international affairs and the Serbian foreign policy, the authors as well as readers are from Serbia and abroad. In Serbia, readers are diplomatic representatives of foreign countries, foreign news agencies, universities, research institutions, and prominent political, academic, economic and cultural figures. In abroad, readers are diplomatic representatives of Serbia, policy-makers at the national and international levels, chambers of commerce, companies, universities, research institutes etc. The journal is distributed in more than 150 countries.

The Review of International Affairs is included in EBSCO, ERIH Plus, Crossref, CEEOL and KoBSON database. The latest categorization of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development (MESTD) of the Republic of Serbia valued it as M24. The journal is deposited in the repository of the National Library of Serbia, and that complies with the regulations of the Serbian MESTD. RIA is open access journal, and there are no hidden costs associated with the publishing in this journal.
