Biography: Nevena Stanković has been employed at the Institute of International Politics and Economics since 2009. She completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s studies at the Faculty of Political Science, University of Belgrade, Department of International Politics. In 2019, she obtained her PhD at the Faculty of Law, Public Management and Security, Megatrend University. Her dissertation is entitled “Harmonization of the Foreign Policy of the Republic of Serbia with the EU Common Foreign and Security Policy in the context of the Treaty of Lisbon”. From 2015 to 2021, she was responsible for public relations at the Institute, while from 2011 to 2013 she served as an assistant to the coordinator of the Ambassadors’ Forum. She is a member of the Editorial Board of the journal European Legislation (Evropsko zakonodavstvo) and of the Forum for International Relations.
Fields of Interest: Dr. Stanković’s research focuses on the foreign policy of the Republic of Serbia, with particular emphasis on Serbia’s European integration process, negotiating Chapters 35 and 31, the Belgrade–Pristina Dialogue, and the process of normalization of relations. Within the field of European studies, her research focuses on the Common Foreign and Security Policy of the European Union.
