Dr Mihajlo Vučić

Senior Research Fellow

Mihajlo Vučić joined the Institute in 2011. A lawyer by profession, he works as a research fellow at the IIPE′s Centre for International Law and International Organisations. Main fields of his academic interests include: international courts and tribunals, international criminal law and use of force, environmental protection, international investment law. Mihajlo is Deputy Editor-in-Chief of IIPE′s journal Evropsko zakonodavstvo [European Legislation], where he previously was Editor-in-Chief. He was Deputy Editor-in-Chief of IIPE`s journal The Review of International Affairs (2015–2018) and coordinator of the IIPE′s „Ambassador’s Forum” (2015–2018). He obtained PhD in law on the topic of international law on the protection and management of international water resources at the Faculty of Law University of Belgrade (2015). He received his Master of European Integration degree on the topic of Legal Framework of Common Foreign and Security Policy of the EU at the same faculty (2009). He got another master degree in international law at the University of Cambridge in 2008. He further honed his skills in at the Hague Academy for International Law (2018). He is a part-time assistant professor at the Faculty of Diplomacy and Security of the University Union-Nikola Tesla where he teaches European Integration and International Law subjects. He speaks English, French and German.
