The Institute of International Politics and Economics held a panel discussion “Current trends in the international economics”. Professor Marko Malović Dean of the Faculty of Business Economics of  “Educons” University, Professor Milenko Dželetović from the Faculty of Security Studies the University of Belgrade, Dr. Vladimir Ristanović from the Institute for European Studies, Dr. Radoslav Baltezarević and Dr. Nataša Stanojević from the Institute of International Politics and Economics shared their observations on key global economic trends and challenges. Dr. Sanja Jelisavac Trošić, the head of the IIPE’s Centre for International Law and Economics moderated the panel discussion.

The most current issues in the field of international economic relations – such as the introduction of the digital currency into international payment transactions, the declining share of the dollar in global currency reserves, the global shortage of critical raw materials, the impact of artificial intelligence on the global economy, as well as the causes of the international trade crisis and the positioning of the Western Balkans and Serbia in the newly created circumstances – permeated the discussion.
