The Institute of International Politics and Economics, in cooperation with the Confucius Institute of the University of Novi Sad and the Embassy of the Republic of China in Serbia, marked the upcoming Spring Festival holiday with a celebratory program.
The event started with introductory speeches of Professor Branislav Đorđević, the Director of the Institute, Zhang Zhe, Minister Counselor at the Chinese Embassy, and Chen Xiu, Director of the Confucius Institute.
Maša Ćirković, Emilija Jović, Elsa Wan, Su Hongwei, Kong Yujie and Slobodan Popović took part in the ceremonial part of the program. They showed the audience a part of the tradition related to celebrating the Chinese New Year and demonstrated their knowledge of the Chinese and Serbian languages.
The Institute of International Politics and Economics congratulates its partners on the upcoming holiday and wishes them a happy Year of the Wooden Dragon!
