The third session of the International Advisory Board of the Institute of International Politics and Economics was held in Belgrade. The session was attended by: Academician Elena Guskova (Russian Academy of Sciences), Professor Toni Mileski (University of St. Cyril and Methodius), professor Richard Sakwa (University of Kent) and Professor Dejan Mihailović (University Technologico de Monterrey). In addition to the members of the Board, session was attended by the director and deputy director of the Institute of International Politics and Economics, Professor Zlatko Stefanović (the President of the IIPE Governing Board) and Professor Vladimir Popović, national consultant within the transformation process.

At the session were presented: the work report of the IIPE for the year 2022, the status of the implementation of the project “Serbia and challenges in international relations in 2023” and information on the achieved level of the Institute’s transformation within the SAIGE project. Additionally, the members of the Board got relevant information on the Strategy of the Institute, which is in the final stage of development.

The discussion was fruitful. All members of the Board expressed their satisfaction with the previous results and made suggestions for even more diverse activities, such as announcing a competition for visiting fellowships or attempts to accredit doctoral studies with domestic or foreign faculties.
