Research fellow of the Institute of International Politics and Economics, dr Aleksandar Mitić, presented at the international scientific-practical conference „Geopolitics and current threats to international security: instruments and mechanisms of influence“, held in Moscow.

The conference, organized by the Gorchakov Fund, was devoted to the analysis of a wide specter of challenges for global and European security, including the threats of radicalization, international terrorism and information warfare.

Academician dr Elena Guskova, head of the Center for the Study of the Contemporary Balkan Crisis at the Institute of Slavic Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and member of IIPE’s International Advisory Board, also spoke at the conference.

The conference was organized in four panels, the first of which was moderated by Dr. Guskova, and the last by Dr. Mitić.
