The two-day international conference “Global Governance: Initiative for Global Development and Community of Common Future of Mankind”, marked launching of the China – Europe – America Think Tank Cooperation Forum.
The Forum was founded by the Academy of Contemporary China and World Studies, the China-Europe-America Global Initiative, the Center for Global Economy and Geopolitics (EsadeGeo), the Paulson Institute, the Institute for International Politics and Economics, and the University of Sydney China Studies Centre.
In addition to former ambassadors, prominent representatives of the world academic community, high-ranking officials of the United Nations and the World Health Organization spoke at the Forum, as well as well-known names in world politics such as Romano Prodi and Javier Solana.
On behalf of the director of the Institute, Prof. Branislav Đorđević, Dr. Aleksandar Mitić addressed the participants in the plenary part, while Dr. Ivona Lađevac spoke on the panel dealing with technology and global governance.
