In the presence of Mr. Branko Ružić, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia and Minister of Science, Education and Technological Development, Prof. Branislav Djordjević, Director of Institute of International Politics and Economics, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation and Support to institutional transformation process.
By signing the Memorandum, IIPE will start implementing the Transformation Plan, which is financed and implemented through a partnership between the Republic of Serbia, the World Bank and the European Union, aimed to additional investing in science, technological development, innovation and innovative entrepreneurship.
In the group of six scientific research institutes included in the transformation project, the Institute of International Politics and Economics is the only one in the field of social sciences and humanities.
