The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Belgrade, the Department of International Relations of Padjadjaran University in Bandung, the International Relations Alumni Association of Padjadjaran University and Institute of International Politics and Economics from Belgrade organized a webinar “Efforts for Economic Recovery: Seeking Opportunities for Closer Economic relations between Indonesia and Serbia” .

The Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the Republic of Serbia, Mr. Chandra Widya Yudha, as well as Dr. Shafiah F. Muhibat, Chairperson of the International Relations Alumni Association of Padjadjaran University, welcomed numerous webinar participants – about 220 registered.

Ivona Ladjevac, Ph.D., Head of the IIPE’s Center for One Belt One Road Studies, introduced the participants of the webinar to the general state of economic development of the Western Balkans and current trends in the field of foreign investment, with special reference to Serbia.

Ms. Viani Puspita Sari, a lecturer at the Department of International Relations, Padjadjaran University, spoke about Indonesian economic interests and ongoing economic diplomacy, which is an integral part of the government’s efforts to combat the effects of the Corona virus pandemic.
