Sandra Davidović, MA, an IIPE Research Assistant, delivered a lecture “Washington Deal – The Art of American Geopolitics in the Balkans” to undergraduate students of International Relations at Johnson and Wales University. As a guest lecturer in the course International Relations and Global Politics, Sandra presented her research on the scope of the recently signed Washington Agreement in the context of normalisation of relations between Belgrade and Priština, as well as the overall geopolitical significance of this agreement regarding the US foreign policy initiative in the Middle East and Balkans. This was also an occasion for Sandra to help American students in getting more familiar to the Kosovo issue from the perspective of the International Relations discipline, and to present the most recent results of her doctoral research in this field.
