Delegation of the Institute of World Economics and Politics from Beijing led by Dr. Wang Yongzhong visited Institute of International Politics and Economics. The hosting delegation was led by Dr. Srđan Korać, Deputy Director for Research. On the behalf of IIPE, in the discussion participated Professor Katarina Zakić and Dr. Miloš Jončić, Research Fellow, both of the IIPE Centre for Belt and Road Studies, Dr. Sanja Jelisavac Trošić, Head of the IIPE Centre for International Organisations and International Law, as well as Dr. Stevan Rapaić, Research Fellow, and Nenad Stekić, Research Assistant, both of the IIPE Centre for Euro-Atlantic Studies. The two delegations considered the avenues for further development of mutual academic cooperation, particularly through joint research projects in the field of international relations and international economics, and the exchange of researchers between the two institutes. Members of delegations underlined the ongoing investments of the PR China towards Serbia and the Balkans, as a driver of traditionally positive bilateral ties between the two countries.
