The Institute of International Politics and Economics organized its second roundtable in the “Dialogues on China” format, devoted to the theme “New Chinese Development Paradigm in the Conditions of Global Instability”.

Particular attention was given to the theme of dual circulation, its effects on China’s economic development, domestic and foreign trade, agrarian policy, as well as the fields of innovation, new Chinese investments and the challenges of demography.

The participants at the roundtable were  Vera Gligorijević, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Geography of the University of Belgrade, Dr. Ivan Nikolić, Senior Research Associate at the Economics Institute, Dr. Elena Jovičić, Research Associate at the Institute of Economic Sciences, as well as three IIPE researchers – Research Associates Dr. Katarina Zakić and Dr. Nataša Stanojević, and Research Assistant Dr. Nenad Stekić.

The IIPE launched the “Dialogue on China” format in 2021, when the first roundtable devoted to China’s foreign policy in the world and in the Balkans was organized.
