IIPE`s researcher Nenad Stekić participated at the two-day international conference “Youth Forum of the Belt and Road: European Perspective and 16+1” in the Chinese city of Hangzhou. The second conference was held on December 28-29, and was organized by the Academy of International Strategy and Law of Zhejiang University. The conference brought together young researchers from 16 countries of Central and Eastern Europe who presented the academic efforts of their institutions in the research of the 16+1 Initiative, as well as forms of international cooperation and projects that are being implemented within it. After the formal opening ceremony, the conference took place in four panels: the forms of cooperation within CEE countries, the development of Balkan countries, young people in the CEE countries and cultures, while the last panel was dedicated to technology and business between the CEE and China. Participants of the conference were invited to participate in the development of a thematic series that will be dedicated to redefining scenarios for the development of 16+1 format in the period up to 2025.
