Aleksandra Kastratovic joined the Institute of International Politics and Economics in March 2024. Main fields of her academic interests include: public international law, international environmental law and international human rights law. She is currently a doctoral student at the Faculty of Law University of Belgrade, and is working on her dissertation titled “The Principles of International Environmental Law: Legal Nature, Practical Application and their Role in Ensuring the Effective Protection from Pollution”. Previously, she graduated from the bachelors and masters programs at the same faculty. The topic of the master thesis was “The Precautionary Principle – International and European Standards”. She is the author and co-author of several scientific papers, and she has presented at international scientific conference. She participated in a number of seminars and workshops. She speaks English, Spanish and Russian language.
