Dr. Mladen Lišanin, a Research Fellow at the Institute of International Politics and Economics, delivered an inaugural lecture titled “Contemporary Transatlantic Relations and Their Transatlantic Prehistory.”

Dr. Lišanin explored the turbulent course of transatlantic relations in the decades following World War II, encompassing both the Cold War and post-Cold War eras. He concluded by discussing the challenges posed by the Russia-Ukraine conflict and the policy direction of the new U.S. administration, as well as potential trajectories for the future of transatlantic relations.
