Institute of International Politics and Economics organized closed roundtable “Geostrategic situation in the Middle East” aimed to exchanging views on one of the most pressing security challenges in contemporary international relations.

In opening presentations Dr. Nebojša Vuković, Dr. Slobodan Janković and Dr. Bogdan Stojanović, pointed out the complexity and dynamism of events in the Middle East and the possible repercussions on international relations.

During the substantive and dynamic discussion, the Institute’s researchers critically examined the possible directions of further development of the geopolitical and security situation in the Middle East, as well as the implications of this conflict for global security.

The round table was moderated by Dr. Veljko Blagojević, Head of the Center for Neighborhood and the Mediterranean.
