Researchers of the Institute of International Politics and Economics, Dr. Jelica Gordanić, Dr. Nevena Stanković, Dr. Dragana Dabić, and Dr. Nenad Stekić participated in the two-day international scientific conference “Smart States in the Contemporary International System,” held on June 19-20 in Thessaloniki. The conference was organized by the Department of International and European Studies of the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki, Greece, together with the Faculty of Security Studies, University of Belgrade, and the Institute of European Studies from Belgrade.
Dr. Stanković and Dr. Dabić presented the main findings of their co-authored research on the foreign policy of the Republic of Serbia in the context of the Smart States Theory, Dr. Gordanić gave a presentation on the concept of tolerance in the United Arab Emirates, while Dr. Stekić presented a co-authored research paper on the Southeast Asian Strategies toward China in the South China Sea Legal Dispute.
