Dr. Ivona Lađevac, Senior Research Fellow and the IIPE Deputy Director, attended the International Conference on Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.
At the conference hosted by the Institute of Modern History of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Working Group on Patriotic Education of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Chinese Institute of Hong Kong, China Resources Group and Lingnan University, within the first panel Dr. Lađevac spoke about significance of Chinese resistance against Japanese Aggression within the context of the World Anti-Fascist War.
In addition to representatives of the academic community of the People’s Republic of China, the conference was also attended by scholars from the Russian Federation, the United Kingdom, and the Republic of Serbia.
