At the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, a delegation from the Institute of International Politics and Economics, consisting of Prof. Dr. Branislav Đorđević, Director of the Institute, and Dr. Nenad Stekić paid a visit to Iran.
At the Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS) in Tehran, Prof. Dr. Branislav Đorđević met with Dr. Saeed Katibzadeh, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran and President of IPIS. On that occasion, a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation between the two institutions was signed.
Prof. Dr. Branislav Đorđević held a closed lecture for IPIS diplomats on the topic “Contemporary International Relations: A View from Serbia”.
The IIPE delegation also took part in the state commemoration marking the 36th anniversary of the death of Ruhollah Khomeini.
