As part of the format “Discussions, Narratives, Analyses” (DNA), the Institute of International Politics and Economics and the Institute of Advanced International Studies from Tashkent organised an online round table titled “Serbian and Uzbekistani Experiences in Cooperation with China within the BRI”.
Dr. Katarina Zakić, Head of the Centre for Belt and Road Studies at the Institute of International Politics and Economics, and Dr. Islomkhon Gafarov, Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Advanced International Studies, delivered opening remarks.
Dr. Aleksandar Mitić discussed the bilateral political relations between Serbia and the People’s Republic of China, highlighting current geopolitical developments on the international stage. Jovana Nikolić, MA, spoke about the economic cooperation between Serbia and China within the Belt and Road Initiative.
Regarding Uzbek Chinese cooperation, Dr. Abbos Bobokhonov provided an overview of the political relations in the context of the initiative, while Hamza Boltaev, MA, addressed the economic aspects and challenges associated with the cooperation between the two countries.
