Researcher Dr. Miloš Petrović took part in the annual international meeting of the COST action held at the University of West Bohemia in Plzeň, Czech Republic, from April 28 to May 1. The topic of the plenary sessions and various working group meetings focused on the state and dynamics of academic freedom in Europe and the mapping of key challenges in this regard. During the discussions regarding the social developments in European countries—particularly those located in geographically peripheral regions, attention was also given to the deterioration of academic freedom in Serbia and the prominent role of students and academic staff in broader democratic processes.
