Dr Sanja Jelisavac Trošić

Senior Research Fellow

Sanja Jelisavac Trošić joined the Institute of International Politics and Economics in 2001, where hers main areas of academic interest include international economic relations, international trade, regional economic cooperation (Western Balkans), intellectual property, WTO and Serbia’s accession to the EU. Sanja obtained her PhD in Analysis of Modalities of Negotiation Rounds in the GATT/WTO from the Faculty of International Economics of Megatrend University in Belgrade (2013). Previously, in the Faculty of Economics at the University of Belgrade, majored in International Economics, gained the title of Master of Economic Sciences, and at the same Faculty graduated at the Department of Foreign and Domestic Trade. Sanja also completed specialization in the High Administration and Comparative Administration (Corso di Alta specializzazione Administrazione E Comparative Governance), University of Bari, Italy, as well as “Diplomacy and the Internet” at Diplomatic Academy in Malta. Sanja was Editor-in-Chief of IIPE′s journal The Review of International Affairs (2015–2018). She authored the books Intellectual Property – International Trade of Intellectual Property Rights (2006) Negotiations under GATT and WTO (2015) and Dynamics of intellectual property development in international economic relations (2023), and co-authored the book Contemporary International Trade (2010), World Trade Organization, Environment and Health Care System (2018) and Crisis of the world economy at the beginning of the 21st century (2021). She published more than 100 papers in national and international journals, thematic proceedings and proceedings from conferences.
