Isidora Pop-Lazić, MA

Research Associate

Isidora Pop-Lazić joined Institute of International Politics and Economics in January 2019. The core areas of her academic interest include international relations, international organisations, contemporary Balkan relations, history of Balkan relations and European integrations. Currently, Isidora is a PhD candidate at the International and European Studies Programme at the Faculty of Political Science, University of Belgrade, where she defended, with highest grade, her master thesis The United Nations Role in The Fight Against Terrorism During Syrian Crisis. At the same faculty, Isidora previously completed undergraduate studies in International Studies, and specialist studies „Terrorism and Organised Crime”. Isidora took part in the Short-Term Volunteering Programme, organised by Institute for International Politics and Economics, and had her final paper published in the IIPE`s journal Međunarodna politika. Isidora has participated in dozens of seminars, conferences, and workshops. She received a scholarship from the Ministry of Science, the City of Belgrade, the Journalists’ Association of Serbia.
