Dr Aleksandra Tošović-Stevanović

Research Fellow

Aleksandra Tošović-Stevanović has been employed at the Institute since September 2021. Her main professional areas of interest are contemporary global economic relations, international business operation, international trade, regional economic cooperation, competitive advantages, and innovations.

She completed her undergraduate, master’s and doctoral studies at the Faculty of Business Studies, where she also obtained all academic ranks, from teaching associate to associate professor. During her teaching career she was Vice Dean of Undergraduate Studies at the Faculty of Business Studies, Founder and Director of the Centre for Career Development and Student Counselling at Megatrend University, while at the College of Business Economics and Entrepreneurship in Belgrade she was Director of the Centre for International Cooperation and a member of the Centre for Projects.

Tošović-Stevanović, PhD was the project coordinator for Serbia on the international project “The Role of Small Farms in Sustainable Development of the Food Fector in Central and East Europe Countries“, an associate on the project of the Ministry of State Administration and Local Self-Government “Local Self-government for the 21st century “, a researcher on the project of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Serbia, entitled “National Strategy of Foreign Capital Inflow aimed at Reintegrating Serbia into World Economic Trends“, as well as a participant in Tempus project “CareerS – Development of Career Guidance aimed at Improving Higher Education in Serbia.”

She was a visiting professor at Vienna International University in Austria, as well as a visiting professor organised by the Erasmus+ Mobility Program at Stanislaw Staszic University of Applied Sciences in Poland, West University of Timisoara in Romania, Technical University of the Middle East in Turkey and the college Powyslanski in Poland.

She is the author of more than 50 scientific papers, including one book and two monographs, co-editor of a collection of papers from an international scientific conference, reviewer and a member of several scientific journals, as well as a member of international scientific committees.
