Mr. Fariz Rzayev, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, delivered a lecture for the researchers of the Institute of International Politics and Economics on Azerbaijan’s foreign policy, with a particular focus on bilateral relations with Serbia and regional dynamics in the South Caucasus.
Following introductory remarks on the common challenges faced by “small states,” such as Azerbaijan and Serbia, in international relations, the discussion covered various aspects of Azerbaijan’s strategic (re)positioning within the broader Eurasian region.
The lecture was held under the Chatham House Rule, allowing for an open and substantive exchange of views among the participants.
