Dr Danilo Babić, Research Associate at the Institute of International Politics and Economics, attended the official presentation of the 22nd issue of Congodiplomatie magazine, dedicated to the partnership between the Republic of Serbia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, on 15 July 2026.
Dr Babić attended the event as a representative of the Institute, at the invitation of the Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the Republic of Serbia, H.E. Mr Joseph Kalala Mulamba. The ceremony was held at the Hotel Balkan in Belgrade.
The event was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, including ambassadors and diplomats from African and Balkan countries. It provided an opportunity to exchange views on the possibilities for further advancing cooperation between Serbia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, as well as strengthening institutional and academic ties with African countries.
Following the formal programme, the activities of the Institute of International Politics and Economics were presented, and the ambassadors in attendance were invited to take part in the Institute’s Ambassadors’ Forum, a platform that brings together diplomats, researchers and policy experts to discuss current international and regional affairs.
