Prof. Dr. Dušan Proroković, Senior Research Fellow at the Institute, participated in the international scientific conference “Philosophy of the Future: Ideas and Meanings”, held in Moscow from 25 to 28 June 2026 at Lomonosov Moscow State University. The conference brought together more than 200 researchers from over 30 countries.

The participants discussed various visions of the future world order, the implications of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the transformation of the role of the state, issues of sovereignty and civilizational development, as well as the impact of emerging technologies on political and social processes.

Prof. Dr. Proroković delivered one of the keynote presentations at the panel devoted to the transformation of the role of the state under contemporary conditions. His presentation “Orthodox Civilization in the Post-Liberal World” examined the concept of Orthodox civilization in the works of the greatest Russian philosophers and professor of Lomonosov University, Alexander Panarin. He emphasized the necessity of political conceptualization of the spiritual foundations of identity in order to ensure the stability of society and achieve cognitive sovereignty.

It was announced that scholarly discussions on these topics would continue at the next international conference, scheduled to take place in October in St. Petersburg.
