The international conference “The Future of Human Rights under an Evolving International Order” was successfully held in Paris, organized as part of the traditional “China-Europe Seminar on Human Rights”.

The Institute’s Deputy Director for Science and Principal Research Fellow, Prof. Dr. Mihajlo Vučić, actively participated in this prestigious academic event. Professor Vučić served as a panel host and presented a paper titled “The Right to Water in an Evolving International Order: Between Commodification and International Solidarity”. The presentation focused on the contemporary challenges of implementing the right to water, examining the tension between market-driven commodification and the necessity of reinforcing international solidarity amidst the climate crisis.

This participation reflects the Institute’s ongoing commitment to contributing to global academic dialogue in the fields of international public law and human rights protection.
