Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for International Politics and Economics, Dr. Aleksandra Tošović-Stevanović, has realized a research visit to the Faculty of Economics at the “1 December 1918” University in Alba Iulia, Romania, from 11 May to 15 May. The visit is a continuation of the cooperation with colleagues from Romania and Poland, which was established at the end of 2025, when the thematic area of the research was defined, as well as the questionnaire that was to be conducted in all three countries. The research was related to contemporary challenges of economic development and sustainable competitiveness.
During the visit, she participated in meetings with colleagues from the Department of Economics, who participated in this research. The results of the research were analyzed, and further cooperation was agreed upon with the aim of presenting the results, publishing papers in scientific journals and participating in conferences”.
During the research visit, Dr. Aleksandra Tošović-Stevanović also gave two lectures for foreign students. The topic was Sustainability and ethical practices in SMEs: Challenges, Opportunities, and Long-Term Impact. The lectures focused on adopting sustainability business practices in SMEs, with a focus on challenges and opportunities in sustainability reporting.
