The Institute of International Politics and Economics organized a roundtable on the topic “Application of the Hedging Strategy in Contemporary International Relations.”

The speakers at the event included Dr. Mihajlo Kopanja from the Faculty of Security Studies, University of Belgrade, MA Milan Varda from the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Belgrade, Dr. Aleksandar Mitić, and MA Pavle Nedić from the Institute of International Politics and Economics. The moderator of the event was Dr. Dušan Proroković from the Institute of International Politics and Economics.

The presenters addressed topics such as the elements and scope of the hedging strategy, its application in Europe and Southeast Asia, as well as the concept of role hedging. The presentations were followed by a discussion with the audience, during which, among other things, questions were raised about the influence of geography and ideology on the hedging strategy.
