Prof. Dr. Maja Kovačević, Dean of the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Political Sciences, delivered a lecture as part of this year’s Winter School of International Relations on the topic “EU Enlargement Policy between the Copenhagen Criteria and Geopolitics.”

In her presentation, she highlighted the development and complexity of the European Union’s enlargement policy, emphasizing the importance of the Copenhagen criteria, as well as the challenges posed by the geopolitical context. The lecture prompted a discussion on the future of European integration, particularly in the context of the Western Balkans and new candidate countries.
