“Austin Peay Week” (APSU Week) concluded at the Institute of International Politics and Economics, having been held from March 9 to 13 as part of the Winter School of International Relations. On this occasion, a certificate award ceremony was organized for the participants, followed by a reception for the students, representatives of the U.S. Embassy in Belgrade, the delegation from Austin Peay State University, the coordinators of the Winter School, and the Institute’s management.
The attendees were first addressed by the Deputy Director of the Institute of International Politics and Economics, Dr Ivona Lađevac, followed by Dr Richard Mifsud, Director of the Institute for National Security and Military Studies at Austin Peay State University. The Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the United States of America in the Republic of Serbia, Alexander Titolo, also addressed the audience, emphasizing the importance of academic cooperation and educational exchanges for strengthening mutual understanding and partnership.
During “Austin Peay Week,” students had the opportunity to attend lectures dedicated to current topics in international relations, as well as to participate in other academic activities organized by the Institute.
