Dr. Bogdan Stojanović, Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of International Politics and Economics, participated in the scientific conference “Nuclear Energy and Energy Stability,” held at the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade.
Dr. Stojanović spoke on the panel “Nuclear Energy: Risk or Guarantee of Energy Stability?”, where he elaborated on the risks and advantages of nuclear energy. Particular emphasis in his presentation was placed on the importance of activism by scholars in the social sciences in publicly advocating this issue, which is of existential significance for the energy transition of the Republic of Serbia toward a stable and environmentally sustainable mode of energy production.
The conference was attended by scholars and professors, heads of state institutions, as well as representatives of the corporate energy sector.
