Dr. Ivona Lađevac, IIPE Deputy Director and Dr. Nenad Stekić, Research Fellow, participated in the international conference “Western Balkans-China relations: Overcoming barriers, building bridges“, held on September 15-17 in Skopje.
The conference was organized with the support from the China-CEE Institute from Budapest and the “Nikola Kljusev” Foundation from Skopje, and it gathered more than twenty researchers from the region, the United Kingdom, Sweden, and the People’s Republic of China.
Dr. Lađevac and Dr. Stekić presented a paper on “Examining the Factors Contributing to the Resilience of Serbian–Chinese Relations”. As part of their presentation, they also shared results from a public opinion survey on attitudes toward the foreign policy of the Republic of Serbia, conducted within the COMPASS project.
