Dr. Alexey Davydov, a research fellow of Primakov Institute of World Economy and International Relations (IMEMO) from Moscow, held an online lecture for IIPE researchers and students of the 2023 Winter School.
Lecture was titled as his recently published a scientific monograph “Pragmatic Idealism: Promoting Democracy in U.S. Foreign Policy” and which main findings was presented. The general conclusion was that the United States aims to increase the controllability of societies by promoting democracy.
