In compliance with the recommended measures of individual and collective protection in the fight against the disease COVID-19, a special ceremony of taking over duties of the Deputy Director, i.e. the head of the Belt and Road Center was held at Institute of International Politics and Economics.

After 15 years of successful work at IIPE, Dr. Srdjan Korać, current Deputy Director, decided to continue his career along with his original primary scientific interest – studying public administration. During his entire engagement at Institute, Dr. Korać has set high standards of ethics and responsibility towards work, which is especially proved by the fact that during his tenure as editor-in-chief, “International Problems”, the oldest scientific journal of Institute, was categorized as M24.

With Dr. Korać’s transfer to the Institute for Political Studies, Dr. Ivona Ladjevac, the current head of the Belt and Road Center, was appointed to the position of Deputy Director of IIPE, and will be replaced by Dr. Katarina Zakić, a research associate.

On this occasion, Prof.  Branislav Djordjević, Director of Institute, presented appropriate gifts to  Dr. Korać, Dr. Ladjevac and Dr. Zakić.
