Institute of International Politics and Economics, in the partnership with the Association of War Volunteers 1912–1918 and SUBNOR, organised a conference to mark a double anniversary – 140 years of US–Serbia diplomatic relations and one century of their alliance in the World War I. The conference held with analytical support of the Centre for social stability. The Working Presidency of the conference was situated in the House of Jevrem Grujić, while the rest of the participants gave their addresses via Zoom platform or in the form of pre-recorded material. Many participants from academic, military, diplomatic and journalist circles, as well as the descendants of famous persons from both countries’ histories, gave their visions of the Serbian-American friendship tradition and contemporary opportunities for the improvement of relations.
