IIPE Centre for Euro-Atlantic Studies organised an online lecture in international relations as a part of cooperation between the Institute of International Politics and Economics and the American College of Thessaloniki. The lecture was delivered by Professor Joseph Michael Gratale on the theme “U.S. Foreign Policy since 9/11”. Professor Gratale analysed key trajectories and instruments of the US foreign policy in the post-11/9 period and provided a comparative view on the mandates of four presidents, starting from the first mandate of the George Bush to the last one of Donald Trump. At the follow-up discussion, the most interesting issues tackled were the future US foreign policy directions under the Biden’s administration, as well as US positioning in the contemporary international system.
