The Institute of International Politics and Economics marked 73 years of its existence by holding an online event for employees due to the current circumstances caused by the Covid-19 virus pandemic.
During the meeting the speakers were Prof. Marijana Dukić Mijatović, State Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Zlatko Stefanović, Chairman of IIPE’s Managing Board and Prof. Branislav Đorđević, IIPE Director.
A number of institutions and individuals sent letters of congratulations to the Institute on the occasion of its day. Three greeting cards were read at the ceremony – one sent by Ana Brnabić, Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, the second sent by Hu Zhijian, President of the Chinese Academy of Science and Technology for Development, Beijing and the third sent by Dr Wu Baiyi, Director of the Institute of European Studies at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Beijing.
Several employees were awarded with acknowledgments for contribution to the Institute’s activities in 2020.
