Institute of International Politics and Economics presented the brochure with multimedia CD on
“Preservation and Protection of Serbia’s Cultural Heritage Abroad”
The publication and CD contain the papers presented at the international conference that took place on 26 June 2009 at IIPE.
The printed publication contains abstracts of the papers written by the participants that took part in the conference, while the CD presents the list of participants, agenda, information, papers, presentations, photos, phonorecords, video record of the conference and the report with the conclusions from the conference that was submitted to the Ministry of Science and Technological Development.

"Serbian Economy and its Prospects for Accession to European Union"
On Thursday, 12 March 2009 , Mr. Vladimir Grečić, Research Professor,
Institute of International Politics and Economics, delivered a lecture on
Serbian Economy and its Prospects for Accession to European Union
to a group of Franklin College students.
The lecture took place at 04:00 PM at IIPE, conference hall, Makedonska 25/ 1st floor.
Franklin College is an American 4-year, B.A. degree-granting university level institute, fully accredited in the American system, but operating in Switzerland. The students are an international group and their interests are mixed. The group consists of 27 students of six different nationalities (predominantly Americans) of ages ranging from 18 to 23 years. Some have strong backgrounds in economics and political science, others in management and in other fields.

in co-operation with the EU Integration Office of the Republic of Serbia,

The conference was opened by representatives of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, and was participated by researchers and professionals from Serbia and its neighbouring countries. The work of the conference was covered by media.

"Japan and Serbia in a Foreseeable Future"
Under the auspicies of the Ministry of Science and Technological Development, on 22 - 23 September 2008 at the Institute of the International Politics and Economics, the round table "Japan and Serbia in a Foreseeable Future" was held. This event marked the continuing of the scientific cooperation between the Osaka University and the Institute of International Politics and Economics started in 2007. At the opening ceremony greeting words were given by Dr. Dusko Dimitrijevic, the Acting Director of the Institute, Dr. Tibor Sabo, Asistant Minister of Science and H.E. Mr. Tadashi Nagai, Ambassador of the Japan. Apart from the representatives of the host institution, at the conference took part participants from several Japanese Universities (Osaka, Tokyo, Nagoya, Kobe and Doshisha) and Serbian guests - Director of the Center for Liberal-Democratic Studies and Japanese language lecturer from Megatrend university. Participants led a vivid conversation on the most important political, economical and cultural issues. All conference proceedings will be published.
Pod pokroviteljstvom Ministarstva za nauku i tehnološki razvoj Republike Srbije, u Institutu za medjunarodnu politiku i privredu je 22-23. septembra 2008. godine održan okrugli sto pod nazivom "Japan and Serbia in a Foreseeable Future". Ovim skupom nastavljena je naučna saradnja započeta prošle godine izmedju Univerziteta u Osaki i Instituta za medjunarodnu politiku i privredu. Na otvaranju su govorili dr Duško Dimitrijević, v.d. direktor Instituta za medjunarodnu politiku i privredu, prof. dr Tibor Sabo, pomoćnik ministra za nauku i tehnološki razvoj, Njegova Ekselencija ambasador Japana, Tadaši Nagai. U radu okruglog stola učestvovali su profesori sa nekoliko japanskih univerziteta (Tokio, Kobe, Nagoja, Došiša, Osaka), gosti iz zemlje - direktor Centra za liberalno demokratske studije u Beogradu i predavač sa Megatrend univeziteta, kao i naučni radnici Instituta. Učesnici su, iz vizura svojih zemalja, govorili o najaktuelnijim političkim, ekonomskim i kulturološkim temama. Sva izlaganja biče objavljena u zborniku radova.

In the framework of the programme for revitalisation and enhancement of the Institute’s role among the professional and general public, designed by Ms Edita Stojić Karanović and adopted by the IIPE Management Board, an international conference on the foreign policy strategy of Serbia was held.
The conference named “Elements of Serbia’s foreign policy strategy - Political and economic aspects” was held on 28th and 29th May in the IIPE premises, supported by the Ministry of Science and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia.
The topic of the conference was selected from the macro-project of the Institute of International Politics and Economics in the Ministry of Science of the Republic of Serbia (record no 149002d), in line with the contract that formalises the cooperation between the IIPE and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia ... more >>>
